Our Story
We started this blog as a way to document our 5 month trip around the world. From a young age both of us have loved to travel. Being a military brat lead Debra to live in many different places (Turkey, Germany, Okinawa, etc.). Roy began traveling at a young age with his family on annual fishing trips to Canada, biannual trips to visit family around the country, and recurring vacations to New Zealand.
This love of traveling from a young age lead to us pick careers where we could travel for work. Being Archaeologists, especially when we were fresh out of college, resulted in us accepting any job for any length. This profession resulted in some great experiences throughout the great plains, great basin, and the rocky mountains. It also lead to the best thing of all....us meeting/dating/and falling in love.

After a few years of working and moving around the west our wanderlust set in and inspired us to begin planning our most ambitious trip of all... five months in SE Asia. We are back home and spent have already worked in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, and South Dakota in the time we've been back!
We hope this blog will be a fun and easy way to capture and immortalize our memories and share them with the people we love.
